4 Features To Look For When Choosing A Stroller For Your Infant

Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm Marlene Washington and I am what my friends often call a gift psychic. I'm not actually a psychic, but I have a knack for guessing exactly what my friends would love to see appear under the Christmas tree. I spend so much time perusing both online and offline stores that I can think of the perfect gift for anyone on my list. Around Christmas dinner, my family unanimously decided that I shouldn't keep my shopping secrets to myself, so I decided to share them with the whole world through my weblog. Please enjoy!

4 Features To Look For When Choosing A Stroller For Your Infant

In the market for a new stroller that meets the needs of your infant and accommodates your busy lifestyle? Here are four features to look for when deciding which option to invest in:

A Compact Design

An important feature to consider when choosing a new stroller for your infant is compactness. If you can't easily fold your new stroller up and store it under a seat or take it with you when you travel, it likely won't meet all your needs as time goes on and you may just end up having to buy a new one. So, look for a stroller with the following features:

  • An easy-open mechanism that makes it possible to unfold the stroller while you're holding your little one.
  • A folding footprint small enough to accommodate storage under airplane seats or a bench in the park.
  • An included travel bag that makes it easy to carry the stroller over your shoulder like luggage.

You should be able to run errands and travel stress-free without having to spend several minutes packing the stroller up and figuring out where to store it every time you're getting in a plane, train, or automobile.

A Multi-Position Seat

To ensure that you can accommodate most of your little one's needs while they spend time in the stroller, choose a model that features a multi-position seat. This will allow you to accommodate naps by laying the seat all the way back, and make playtime easy by pushing the seat in its forward position. For those lazy days, you should be able to position the seat somewhere in between so your baby can see what's going on around them while relaxing.

Suspension Wheels

Without suspension wheels, you can expect your little one to experience a bumpy ride when in their stroller whether you're in the park or on a city sidewalk. Make sure that the stroller you invest in features not only swivel wheels but also at least two of the wheels should be on a suspension system of some kind – for example, the wheels may sit on heavy-duty springs that will catch any resistance that develops during a stroll.

Plenty of Storage Space

If you're already pushing a stroller around, why take on the burden of carrying a bag over your shoulder too? Make sure that your new stroller has lots of room for storing bottles, diapers, blankets, toys, snacks, and your own personal belongings too. A net shelf under the seat of the stroller, a basket near the handles, and even cup holders hanging off the side can all come in handy. Make a list of things you expect to carry with you when strolling your infant both in town and while traveling and use the list as a guide when determining whether a prospective stroller has enough storage space for your needs.

There are a multitude of strollers on the market that offer the features outlined here, such as the Pali Sei.9, so you shouldn't have a problem finding the perfect fit for you and your little one. Check out places like Palitaly Inc. for more ideas.
